This page covers safer-gambling advice and explains exactly what this site does and does not do to help a reader manage their gambling. It sits alongside the operator listings elsewhere on this site, but it is not connected to any account, deposit or bet.
Before You Start
Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat that amount as already gone the moment you commit it. Deciding in advance removes the pressure of making that judgement later, when a run of results is already influencing your thinking.
Never chase a loss. The urge to win back money already spent is exactly the moment when decisions stop being about entertainment and start being about recovery, and recovery is not something a bet can reliably deliver.
Keep gambling money separate from borrowed money. If the money did not belong to you as spare money in the first place, losing it creates a debt on top of a loss, which is a harder problem to recover from than the loss itself.
Take breaks during a session rather than playing in one uninterrupted stretch. A pause gives you a chance to notice whether you are still enjoying yourself or simply continuing out of momentum.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, tell someone else early. A second person can see patterns you may not notice in yourself, and involving them before a problem grows is easier than involving them afterwards.
Getting Help
Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware.org, GamblingTherapy.org and GamCare.org.uk. Those links appear throughout the build, not only here.
These are the only links on the whole site that are not commercial. They carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.
Beyond being independent sources of help, this page does not describe what those organisations do or how they operate. Any detail about their services is found on their own sites, not here.
What This Site Cannot Do
This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one. Those controls only exist once you have opened an account at a destination and set them there.
Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing, but any actual check of age happens at the destination, not here.
No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here. Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line, telling the reader to check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
